The Five Pillars
Pillar I
The Inner Game
Rewire your mindset. Design your destiny. Live your most extraordinary life.
Most adults spend decades unlearning the beliefs that held them back. At Vanguard Lyceum, your child starts that work at thirteen. The Inner Game is an intensive personal development experience that helps young people identify what's stopping them, design the life they actually want, and build the mental and emotional tools to go get it. Inspired by the most powerful human potential work in the world, this is not a feel-good class — it's a transformation.
Pillar II
The Founder
Real business. Real stakes. Real results.
Your child has ideas. The Founder teaches them what to do with those ideas. Working in small teams, students will conceive, build, and actually launch a real business — from product development and pricing to sales, marketing, and basic accounting. By the end, they won't just understand entrepreneurship. They'll have lived it.
Pillar III
The Rhetorician
Think sharper. Argue better. Persuade anyone.
The ability to think clearly, argue persuasively, and communicate with confidence is the most underrated skill in the world. The Rhetorician trains students to recognize weak arguments, construct airtight ones, sell their ideas, and hold their own in any room. Part debate club, part rhetoric masterclass — this is communication skills on an entirely different level.
Pillar IV
The Strategist
Think in systems. Master money. Win at life.
Why do people make the decisions they do? How do incentives shape behavior? How does money actually work — and how can a teenager become a millionaire before they ever start their first job? The Strategist teaches students to think in systems, understand game theory, and take control of their financial future starting right now.
Pillar V
The Builder
Understand it. Build with it. Lead because of it.
AI is not the future. It's the present — and it's reshaping everything. The Builder gives students genuine fluency with artificial intelligence at exactly the right moment: when it still matters whether you're the one who understands it or the one it replaces. Students will learn how AI thinks, build their own AI-powered tools, and develop the uniquely human skills — creativity, judgment, ethical reasoning — that no algorithm can replicate. The question isn't whether AI will change your child's world. It will. The question is whether they'll be ready to lead in it or struggle to keep up. The Builder answers that question.
